Boating on The Thames

With its wide open waterway, easy to find mooring spots both in or out of town, the Thames has a lot to offer in terms of an exciting boating holiday.

Room For Everyone

One of the best things about boating on the Thames is the large expanse of water, with lots of room to pass fellow boats and plenty of free morning places both in the towns or the countryside.

Manned Locks

When boating on the Thames dont worry if locks aren't so much your thing. With friendly lockkeepers you can be assured they will help and assits you through  and even operate the locks for you during their working hours.

Most locks also have water points and pump outs in case you need them on a longer holiday hire.

Stunning Countryside

From Lechalde at the start of the navigable river Thames right down towards London at its mouth you can rest assured you will experience some amazing countryside views and wildlife.

Gentle Flow

While in winter the river swells and expands rest assured in summer its seldom like that with a nice gentle flow making narrowboating easy and enjoyable.
